    Terms of Service

    Last updated: 23 June 2026

    1. About Memberlet

Memberlet helps creators sell memberships — subscriptions, communities, and gated content — directly to their audience. These terms set out how the platform works and what we each agree to. By using Memberlet, you accept them.

These terms apply to everyone: creators who build and sell offerings, and members who purchase them.

    2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must keep your login credentials secure.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Memberlet.

One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.

    3. Creator responsibilities

As a creator, you are solely responsible for the content and access you promise to members. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate descriptions of your offers and what members receive
    • Deliver the access or content described — Telegram groups, courses, or other resources
    • Comply with Telegram's Terms of Service and any other third-party platform rules
    • Not use Memberlet to sell illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
    • Handle member disputes fairly and in good faith

Memberlet is a technology platform. The relationship with your members — and what you deliver to them — is yours. We are not responsible for your content or how you fulfil your membership promises.

    4. Payments and fees

Payments are processed by Paystack. By using Memberlet to sell or purchase, you also agree to Paystack's terms of service.

Memberlet charges a 7% platform fee on each transaction, deducted at the point of payment.

Creators receive the net amount after Paystack processing fees and the Memberlet platform fee are deducted.

Subscriptions renew automatically on their billing cycle unless cancelled. Memberlet charges renewal payments using the payment method authorised at checkout.

If we change the platform fee, we'll give creators reasonable notice before the new rate takes effect on their next billing cycle. Continued use of Memberlet after a fee change takes effect means you accept the new rate.

    5. Refunds and cancellations

Memberlet does not issue refunds directly. Refund decisions are at the discretion of the creator. If you have a dispute with a creator, contact them first at their listed support email.

If you cannot resolve a dispute with a creator, contact us at support@memberlet.com and we will assist where we are able to.

Chargebacks raised without first contacting the creator or our support team may result in account suspension.

    6. Prohibited conduct

You must not use Memberlet to:

    • Sell or distribute illegal content or services
    • Impersonate another person or organisation
    • Spam, harass, or abuse other users
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform
    • Launder money or conduct fraudulent transactions
    • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
    • Scrape, data-mine, or use bots to extract data from the platform
    • Harvest or misuse other users' personal information

    7. Content and intellectual property

Creators may upload images and other content (offer covers, descriptions, and similar material) to the platform. You retain ownership of what you upload, but you grant us the right to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the Service.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you upload. We may remove content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.

If you believe content on Memberlet infringes your copyright, email us at support@memberlet.com with a description of the work, where it appears on Memberlet, and your contact details.

Memberlet's own branding, design, and platform features (excluding creator-uploaded content) remain our property.

    8. Feedback

If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about Memberlet, we may use them without any obligation to compensate you or keep them confidential.

    9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or cause harm to other users or the platform. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

    10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Memberlet is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party services such as Paystack, Telegram, or WhatsApp.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of revenue or data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Memberlet shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Memberlet in the three months preceding the claim.

    11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

    12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the platform. Continued use of Memberlet after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

    13. Waiver and severability

If we don't enforce a right or provision in these terms, that doesn't mean we waive it. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
